How to Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your BrokenTelephone account and its associated data directly from within the app. No web form is required.

Open the BrokenTelephone app
Go to Settings
Tap Personal
Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
Tap Delete Account
Confirm by tapping Delete on the dialog

Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted immediately after confirmation.

Data That Is Deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your profile (email, username, avatar, bio)
Your friend relationships and friend requests
Your notification history
Your FCM token and session data
Your purchased design ownership records

Data That Is Retained

Your game posts (drawings and text descriptions) are part of shared game chains created with other players and are not deleted when you delete your account. They may remain visible within those chains.

Data processed by Google (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics) is subject to Google's own retention schedule and may not be deleted immediately:

Account data (email, username, avatar, bio)	Deleted immediately upon account deletion
Friend relationships, notifications, FCM token	Deleted immediately upon account deletion
Purchased design ownership (product ID, purchase token)	Deleted immediately upon account deletion
Game content (drawings, text descriptions)	Retained as part of shared game chains
Firebase Analytics events	Up to 14 months (Google's default)
Firebase Crashlytics data	Up to 90 days (Google's default)
