Data Deletion

Deleting Individual Data Without Deleting Your Account
You do not need to delete your entire BrokenTelephone account to remove specific content. You can permanently delete an individual post (a drawing or text description you submitted) directly from within the app.
How to Delete a Post
- Open the BrokenTelephone app
- From the Dashboard or your Profile, tap the post you want to remove
- On the post screen, tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
- Tap Delete
- Confirm by tapping Delete on the "Delete post?" dialog
The post is permanently deleted immediately after confirmation. This action cannot be undone.
A post can only be deleted while it is still the latest step in its game chain and no other player has contributed to it yet. Once another player has added a drawing or description on top of your post, it can no longer be deleted through the app. To request deletion in that case, contact us using the details below.
What Gets Deleted
- The drawing image and/or text description you submitted for that post
Deleting a single post does not delete your account, profile, friends, or any other posts. Other participants' contributions elsewhere in the same game chain are not affected.
Want to Delete Everything Instead?
If you'd rather delete your entire account and all associated data, see our Account Deletion instructions.
See our full Privacy Policy for more details on how your data is handled.
